Waseda university

Waseda university offers full-fledged,English-based degree programs that allow students to receive a Bachelor's Degree entirely in English.As enrollment into the English-based degree program is possible regardless of Japanese language ability,this allows our doors to be opened to a wider range of students, including those who have an interest in  Japan or in studying there but are concerned about their lack of mastery over the Japanese language .Studying in Japan on an English-based degree program not only provides the opportunity to learn the language but also to the following advantages.

    Upholding its liberal tradition, Waseda University has actively welcomed international students since its founding. The university boasts international student enrollment figures that are highest in Japan (as of 2013). Going forward, Waseda will place an even greater emphasis on fostering a global learning and research environment through such efforts as bolstering the study abroad programs for its students.

 Waseda University is proactive in establishing relationships with universities and research institutions overseas. It has concluded agreements with approximately 660 universities and institutions in more than 70 countries and regions. In collaboration with these institutions , the university has developed 350 study abroad programs and sends about 2500 students abroad every year on long-term, short-term and double-degree programs, among others. In addition, Waseda University is promoting inter-university courses, as well as research and faculty exchange.
